Actual papers matched to current syllabus

**14 distinct sittings · 200 solved question parts.** These counts consolidate duplicate stream copies. Every included question is linked below by its current syllabus unit. All are relevant to at least one current syllabus area.

## Latest four sittings versus older papers

Read this as the marks **offered across several papers**, not a promised unit weightage or a recommendation to skip a unit. Latest = 2026-07-11, 2026-05-16, 2026-02-12, 2025-12-11. A combined question is counted once under its main unit; its secondary topics are still shown in the unit lists.

| Primary syllabus unit | Latest four papers | Older 10 papers |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Unit 1 · Communication | 7 parts · 35 confirmed marks + 3 unprinted/conflicting parts | 18 parts · 145 confirmed marks |
| Unit 2 · Advertising theories, models and classifications | 17 parts · 135 confirmed marks + 3 unprinted/conflicting parts | 39 parts · 375 confirmed marks |
| Unit 3 · Strategy, brands and media planning | 16 parts · 125 confirmed marks + 3 unprinted/conflicting parts | 37 parts · 325 confirmed marks + 1 unprinted/conflicting parts |
| Unit 4 · Public relations | 16 parts · 125 confirmed marks + 3 unprinted/conflicting parts | 36 parts · 345 confirmed marks |
| Unit 5 · Case studies | 4 parts · 80 confirmed marks | 10 parts · 180 confirmed marks + 1 unprinted/conflicting parts |

## Offered marks and attempted marks are different

Q1 is compulsory (20 marks). Choose any four complete questions from Q2–Q7 (4 × 20 = 80). **Attempt 100 marks.** The nominal full paper offers 140 marks because two optional complete questions are left unanswered. Choosing two separate halves from different questions is not the stated rule.

Three papers leave individual Q1 marks blank; 2022 Q5B is also blank, and May 2025 Q7 has conflicting copies. Confirmed-mark totals above exclude those parts. Their study allocations do not become printed marks. Two 2023 papers use whole 20-mark Q2–Q7 questions rather than 10+10 splits.

## What the numerical evidence actually supports

No recovered APR paper supplies data for a standalone calculation. May 2026 Q4A explicitly asks for examples showing reach, frequency and message-weight calculations. Faculty-note worked examples answer that demand. Extra arithmetic drills are optional and are not PYQs.

Printed wording is retained with the existing scan transcription’s normalised spacing/punctuation. Unit mapping is our academic interpretation of the supplied syllabus, not a faculty marks blueprint.
