CN M2 · source mapping

Primary scope: your message, “From ALOHA to Unit 4 complete,” and the current AY 2026–27 Computer Networks syllabus, code 702AI0C023. Pattern: the confirmed 2+2 compulsory and any two 3-mark questions. No separate CN course-policy document was supplied.

Supplied materials reviewed: the CN English AnswerBook PDF/DOCX as a secondary reference; the December 2025 and February 2026 question papers and associated answer schemes extracted from the two Computer Networks ZIPs. The large answer-book contains substantial material outside this M2 cutoff; its broad predictions and extra topics do not redefine the confirmed portion.

## Corrections and conventions

- The syllabus’s “CDMA/CA” is treated as the standard CSMA/CA collision-avoidance topic, consistent with the surrounding random-access list.
- The final-paper IPv6 scheme incorrectly describes four omitted groups in 0:15::1:12:1213. Five groups are visible, so :: inserts three. Its displayed expanded address already has the correct eight groups.
- ALOHA results are explicitly tied to the equal-frame Poisson collision model. Offered traffic, normalized throughput, successful frames/s and success probability are distinguished.
- Bellman–Ford solutions declare an in-place edge order; intermediate tables can differ under another valid convention.
- Subnet host-count exceptions /31 and /32 are kept separate from ordinary broadcast-subnet calculations.
- Fragmentation and DHCP timer arithmetic are supporting extensions; prioritize the explicitly named core topics first.

This release covers CN M2, not Units 1–6 as a complete TEE course. The matched TEE questions are included because they test this M2 material. No video is claimed as generated or reviewed in this CN release.
