Answer — step by step

Three applications are image recognition, speech recognition and language translation. In image recognition, a CNN applies filters to learn local edges and textures, combines them into more complex features, and uses an output layer to assign class probabilities. It learns these features from labeled examples instead of requiring every image feature to be manually designed.
