Reading a question precisely
Course vocabulary in plain words
“Calculate” asks for arithmetic and a result. Write the formula and substitutions before the final number.
“Explain” asks how and why a method works. Give its definition, describe the steps, and connect each step to its purpose.
“Compare” asks for matched differences. Discuss the same attributes for both methods, such as stored state, update rule, benefit and limitation.
“Draw” asks for a labeled structure. Label inputs, layers or time steps, arrows, activations and the output. A diagram and explanation should describe the same computation.
“Design” asks for a justified arrangement. State the task, input and output, chosen layers, activation/loss pair and training procedure. State any assumption needed because the question leaves a value unspecified.
