Twelve distinct paper sittings, 2022–2026; repeated stream copies consolidated

**12 distinct sittings · 194 solved question parts.** These counts consolidate duplicate stream copies. Every included question is linked below by its current syllabus unit. All are relevant to at least one current syllabus area.

## Latest four sittings versus older papers

Read this as the marks **offered across several papers**, not a promised unit weightage or a recommendation to skip a unit. Latest = 2026-07-10, 2026-05-15, 2026-02-12, 2025-12-10. A combined question is counted once under its main unit; its secondary topics are still shown in the unit lists.

| Primary syllabus unit | Latest four papers | Older 8 papers |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Unit 1 · Disaster concepts, types, risk and hazards | 12 parts · 100 confirmed marks | 28 parts · 229 confirmed marks |
| Unit 2 · Earthquakes, floods, droughts and landslides | 14 parts · 125 confirmed marks | 24 parts · 220 confirmed marks |
| Unit 3 · Mitigation, management, institutions and warning | 19 parts · 175 confirmed marks | 32 parts · 266 confirmed marks |
| Unit 4 · Training, awareness, GIS and remote sensing | 16 parts · 135 confirmed marks | 39 parts · 335 confirmed marks |
| Unit 5 · Case studies | 3 parts · 25 confirmed marks | 7 parts · 70 confirmed marks |

## Offered marks and attempted marks are different

Q1 is compulsory (20 marks). Choose any four complete questions from Q2–Q7 (4 × 20 = 80). **Attempt 100 marks.** The nominal full paper offers 140 marks because two optional complete questions are left unanswered. Choosing two separate halves from different questions is not the stated rule.

December 2022 and February 2023 use five compulsory 4-mark Q1 parts. The other recovered sittings use four 5-mark Q1 parts. Both produce the same 20-mark compulsory group. May 2026 repeats the printed Q5A label; the second occurrence is indexed as Q5B and explained in its answer.

## What the numerical evidence actually supports

No recovered DM paper supplies data for a standalone calculation. The December 2022 equation-of-disaster question asks for meaning, components and an example. It is a theory/application question, not an instruction to insert invented values. Extra arithmetic drills stay optional.

Printed wording is retained with the existing scan transcription’s normalised spacing/punctuation. Unit mapping is our academic interpretation of the supplied syllabus, not a faculty marks blueprint.
