Twelve distinct paper sittings, 2022–2026; repeated stream copies consolidated

The supplied syllabus specifies a **100-mark TEE**. The reviewed papers allow **3 hours**, require **Q1**, and require **any four of Q2–Q7**. Each complete question carries 20 marks, giving 5 × 20 = 100 attempted marks.

| Paper group | Q1 | Q2–Q7 |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Recent papers and most older papers | Four parts × 5 marks = 20 | Two parts × 10 marks in each question |
| December 2022 and February 2023 | Five parts × 4 marks = 20 | Two parts × 10 marks in each question |

The archive contained 59 distinct PDF files, including stream copies, scanned duplicates and answer schemes. They resolve to **12 distinct question-paper sittings**. All 12 are presented below with complete question text and model answers; scanned wording has spacing and punctuation normalised. The 2025–26 answer schemes were used to check the requested answer depth, not as unquestioned scientific authority.

## Recurring question forms

| Command | What the answer must contain |
| --- | --- |
| Define / differentiate | Precise definitions, the requested comparison and a relevant example. |
| Explain measures | Name each measure, explain what it does and why it reduces harm. |
| Draw / illustrate | A labelled diagram plus an explanation of its parts. |
| Apply GIS / EWS / a plan | Connect tools to a specific hazard and management phase. |
| Case study | Event and setting → causes and vulnerability → impacts → response → lessons. |
| Checklist | The requested number of distinct, explained considerations. |

These are observed past-paper patterns, not an announced blueprint for the next examination. The recent 5 + 5 + 5 + 5 format is kept separate from the older 4-mark format and from your 10-mark M2 format.

## Calculation evidence

**What the available papers show:** the 12 recovered TEE sittings (1 December 2022 to 10 July 2026), containing 194 question parts, ask for explanations, comparisons, sketches, measures, checklists and case applications. No question in that set supplies values and requires a numerical calculation. The 1 December 2022 Q2A [10 marks] asks for the disaster equation and its components with an example; it is a theory question. This describes the available papers, not a restriction on a future examiner.
