Answer
Definition. A PR agency is an external professional organisation that advises and supports clients in research, communication and stakeholder relationships. Publicity is public attention or coverage.
In simple words. Agency service provider hai; publicity attention hai.
Understand it step by step
- An agency may conduct research, plan a programme, prepare media material, train spokespeople, support events and monitor issues.
- The client remains responsible for the truth of claims and for organisational action. Outsourcing writing does not outsource accountability.
- Publicity may arise through independent reporting or public discussion; it can be favourable or unfavourable and need not be planned.
- Ethical media work identifies sponsorship where applicable and supplies accurate material; publicity should not be defined as deliberately disguising promotion as news.
